The Wyoming Department of Education is pleased to offer WAVES sessions, which are virtual professional development training. These trainings can be used to increase personal knowledge of special education topics or for districts to train staff.  All sessions are recorded virtual training offered free of charge. SDI Book Study – Specially Designed Instruction: Increasing Success for Students with Disabilities by Anne Beninghof

Learning Goal: This book study will introduce, inform, and instruct participants on specially designed instruction (SDI) and provide practical examples of:

    • Envisioning SDI
    • Planning for SDI
    • Fulfilling the Promise of SDI

As a result of participation in this book study on specially designed instruction, participants will be able to:

    • Define specially designed instruction.
    • Differentiate between specially designed instruction and accommodations.

SPECIAL NOTE: I am anxiously anticipating a new granddaughter any day now.  In the off chance that she decides to come during our meeting time, I will let you know as soon as possible.  Thank you for your understanding and patience.
