The Job Accommodation Network is a service provided by the United States Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy.  JAN facilitates the employment and retention of workers with disabilities by providing employers, employment providers, people with disabilities, their family members, and other interested parties with information on job accommodations, entrepreneurship, and related subjects.  JAN’s efforts are in support of the employment of people with disabilities.

A WYAble Account is an investment account available to eligible individuals with disabilities.  WYAble accounts are made possible by the federal Achieving a Better Life Experience (“ABLE”) Act. WYAble Accounts allow individuals with disabilities to save and invest money without losing eligibility for certain public benefits programs, like Medicaid or SSI. Earnings in your WYAble Account are not subject to federal income tax, so long as you spend them on “Qualified Disability Expenses.”
