Classroom Audio Distribution Systems (CADS)

newmediumhand.Classroom Audio Distribution Systems (CADS) benefit not only students with mild to moderate hearing loss, but the entire class as well. Sound field systems are designed to address poor classroom acoustics, thereby benefiting all students. The teacher wears a small microphone and his or her voice is broadcast to loudspeakers placed strategically throughout the classroom. The sound of the teachers voice is amplified enough to compensate for background noise. Students in the back of the room can hear as clearly as those in the front. Note: CADS’ are not a substitution for personal amplification.
