About WAVE – The Wyoming Department of Education is excited to announce the 2018 Week of Academic Vision and Excellence Conference dates and this year’s collaboration with the University of Wyoming and the Ellbogen Foundation. The WAVE is an annual conference that brings together national and state leaders in education to share knowledge and expertise on best practices, quality instruction, regulations and law requirements.

What to Expect – Attendees should prepare for a multitude of sessions to include topics on: education law, autism, behavior, fiscal education, the Every Student Succeeds Act, dispute resolution, and more. Additionally, this year, a new mirco-credentialing option will be launched for educators. More information on this option will follow.  PTSB and CLE credit will also be offered.

Presenters – Keynote speakers include David Flink and Rosemarie Allen.  Also presenting: Julie Weatherly, Patrick Schwarz, Jose Martin, Tricia Berg, Marcus Soutra, the knowledgeable staff from the Wyoming Department of Education and many more.

Who Should Attend? You, general educators, special educators and directors, superintendents, school and parent attorneys, social workers, counselors, related services providers, Paraprofessionals, principals, school psychologist, hearing officers and mediators.
